    samsung q1 umpc

I am planning to buy samsung q1 umpc.  Can someone tell me I use for development, like regular laptop, run perl, python scripts and mysql database on there?  windows XP tablet on samsung has any limitation or whatever you can do on laptop window's XP, you can do on samsung q1 windows xp tablet?

XP tablet just has increased functionality, no limitations compared to XP professional.

Well, no keyboard is a pretty big hinderance to development, but if you're ready to work around that, then go for it! A Q1 is literally just a computer that has no keyboard. It still runs a full version of Windows.

So plug a keyboard in.  There are many computers that don't have a keyboard until you plug one in.

I wasn't trying to say that there was no solution -- merely I wanted to point out the limitations to the device -- a keyboard is just one more thing to carry around / pack up.

I use an Samsung Q1U-V with 2GB of Memory and an 800MHz processor and I would have to say development on it would be a very slow operation. If you had a faster processor along with a good amount of memory I think you would be okay since the Q1 is a laptop in most respects.
