Hi, Wondering if anyone knows where to source HSDPA internal antenna for Samsung Q1-UP, antenna to match Sierra aircard or Novatel Expidite 870 D.

it seems to be a rare item, ebay or general search does'nt produce results.

 

I found good idea on eee user forum. Look to this topic http://forum.eeeuser.com/viewtopic.php?id=22284 - author used internal antena from stripped external notebook antena.
I found this antena on ebay (with price about 20EUR).

I used This ebay one with much sucess and cheap too, although it says bluetooth i had full coverage and hsdpa speeds

thanks for info i use 3 wireless broadband  in Adelaide. works well. do u use 1 or  2 antenna? thinking of using att modem internally in SAM Q1 UP . i gather bluetooth antennas r ok to receive hsdpa 3G signal?

yes I used just the one antenna and had 5 bars out of 5 in Melbourne city, 3 in outer burbs, my plan is with 3 as well.
My device was the q1u-v, withe the novatel 870d modem, works great

HEy i had a question...I bought a sierra wireless 8781 (hsdpa card with voice enabled and unlocked) And I opened up a usb connect device and attached this embeeded module to it..my computer picks it up and installed all the software and drivers etc(perfect)...and I go to make a voice call..
It calls the person I want(they pick up)..but I cant hear anything and the other person cant hear anything either.....am I doing something wrong??
Do i have to go out and buy a headset or something...(I turned on the microphone fuction on my laptop but still nothing..just silence..and I cannot hear them from my computer speakers either) can anyone pretty please help me..
