    Which UMPC to get?

Hello, i need a UMPC for university. Personally, i hate laptop keyboards/portable keyboards so i'll be sticking to a sillicone roll-up keyboard attached via USB.

Right now, i have my eyes on the ASUS R2Hv and the LG P100 but the P100 has a keyboard (damn) and isnt really considered a UMPC...

I like the R2Hv because of the GPS and camera along with it's 1 ghz processing speed and available 1 gb ram. I'll mostly do word processing and probably the odd video watching/downloading/gaming on it.

From reading the forum, however,, it seems that the r2h has area problems. And it is quite pricy

Anyways, any ideas for a UMPC less than 800 usd with fast processor, large ram, decent hard drive,, nice battery life(4 hours plus) and a decent graphics card?

I'm not worried about screensize. I was thinking less than 7 inches?

    Re: Which UMPC to get?

The only significant difference between XP and XPT is the onscreen keyboard. In tablet, an onscreen keyboard will be displayed at login and can then be called up later from the taskbar. This keyboard is not the normal one that is included in all versions of XP. Specifically, it is known as TIP and can handle handwriting recognition as well. However, XP's handwriting recognition is shotty at best. With the Q1U, there are TSP drivers available from Samsung's website which will enable the touchscreen for XP.

Both XP and XPT are capable of inking but neither contains a program sufficient for note taking (install OneNote for that purpose)
