I just got a Samsung Q1U-V, with Vista Home Premium installed on it. I installed Origami Experience 2.0, but what actually works with it? Which version of microsoft reader, etc? The one for Origami says it only works with windows xp or Vista Ultimate. (Don't suggest I go backwards to XP because I hate XP and like Vista and I have Vista Ultimate on my desktop). I like Origami's picture password, but other than that, I haven't found any functional use for Origami since none of the other Origami applications seem to work for Vista Home Premium. From what I've read, most UMPCs come with either Windows XP or Vista Home Premium, so why was the Origami Reader set up for Vista Ultimate only? I tried installing it just to see if it would work with Vista Home Premium, and it said I had to have the Origami Experience Pack first. But when I tried to install that, it told me it couldn't because I wasn't running Vista on my machine when I am. I'm not sure why microsoft thinks I don't have Vista when I do. (Yes it is an authentic and licensed version of Vista.)
If anyone had any ideas or suggestions for a combination that actually works between Origami, Reader, etc. I'd like to hear it. I just seems to me that everything was just thrown out there piecemeal, with no set plan or coordination for any of it to work together.
