Hi Jerry,
I have a R2H model with 512 MB memory, but without webcam and bluetooth.
I think the R2H is quite snappy. allmost all office applications load within 6 to 10 seconds. Only Word and Excel took 20 seconds, but i think that has to do with the virus control, at least that is what i see on the bottom of the window when those applications are loading. Working with the applications is quite snappy to. I am not at all disappointed with the response of the R2H, especially after disabling the Asus multy frame utility.
The screen is not of the 'true brite' type, but i think it is good enough. It would have been extremely nice If it had the same screen as my HX4700 pocket PC with it's high resolution screen and beautiful colors. The screen is comparable with my older low resolution PPC.
Well, i am not a gaming guy, but i think Asus did really a good job concerning the buttons, the joypad and the joystick. They feel solid, click nice and are good positioned. When i am surfing on the internet, it feels like playing on a PSP kind of device.
you are right, it is a lot of money, but on the other hand you get a really nice little tablet pc with which you can do about the same things as on a much larger laptop. There is even a finger print scanner included as there is a GPS unit. And of course the included USB keyboard.
Regards, Henri
