You mean Origami Experience 2.0, Origami is the name of the platform itself. And from what I can see the 2.0 version doesn't offer much new. Just those widgets/gadgets/whatever. And you can do those with the integrated webpage feature I added a while back. I could change the feature to work even while offline if it's a local file

There isn't a download link in sourceforge.net. Could you upload it somewhere else?

    Thanx, and good work!

Not sure, probably. They should be getting back to me shortly and I'll be uploading a new version with local file support for the embedded web browser And you can make those "widget" things with this site There. 2.0 has been cloned to my satisfaction. Assuming it has no other "big" features

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

Alright, I decided to check for myself and sourceforge accepted my application. Once I get home from my friend's place in a few hours I'll put the program there along with all my other UMPC-optimized stuff.

I uploaded the files, but now sourceforge isn't showing them. SF hates me...

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

Newest version, complete with the common controls OCX, and the OCX for Windows Media Player 6, just in case anyone is missing them.

I also added the ability to set a homepage for when you're offline (or have no online homepage set)
To change this, go to settings, general. The API now supports the ability for me to set a Help file using the built in web browser as well. Assuming I ever make one

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

    Sir,

This looks very good on the everun, thanks.

I was wondering if you got the change to add in the main menu an option to browse
to my documents, then you have the option also to open your word excel e.t files.
that's makes it usefull to use is as main menu.
Another thing the everun does not have any quick or fany orgiami menu in it, so import
is not possible in mobilehome, i would like to see that mobilehome can scan your path
(look for exe files) and add these to mobilehome.

Anyway it's nice to see that you can use it without running vista.

    thanks

    Tidde

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

I could add the ability to browse custom file types.
I don't want to add anything to the UI (in terms of a new button) and the Help button is unused, I could change the icon/text and make it open the standard file menu (currently used to list images/movies/etc) with a list on the left side with your file types (ie: 1 for documents, 1 for SNES ROMs) and clicking one would just run the file.
All you'd have to do is set up the default folder, and extention list (SNES ROMs = *.sfc;*.snes)
    Anyone else want this?

As for EXEs, the program has that already, you just add the programs you want to the program menu
