any news on when the asus r2h will be out

I've contacted  a few people in Asus today with exactly the same question. A lot of people are asking it.

Was due in the first week of August.

The R2H lives!

As I write this there are R2H's stacked up in a warehouse somewhere.

I might have somethign more for you in a day or two but i'll probably post it on the journal.

 As far as I know, the original specs are still the same.

Highlights being the buit-in GPS option, Fingerprint reader and camera. I'm reading this from an ASUS Germany press reease dated March so I guess thinkg coud have changed. I woudn't be suprised if they offered it in a Pentium-M version.
It looks ike it wi go head-to-head with the TK i7210
